Update 0.4.0.208
This update fixes several crashes and PC graphics display errors while also restoring fall damage to its intended values. It also smooths out erroneous camera stutter when interacting with gravity anomalies, fixes a squad voice chat issue, and ensures the game remembers your last-selected raid type (Open or Isolated) across sessions.
Gameplay and Balance
- Pressing the fence-cutting keybind again no longer cancel the action once it has begun.
- Fixed instances of camera "jitter" when the direction of gravity changed.
- Fall damage has been restored to its intended values. Falling from the roof of a three-story building will now most likely kill you, whereas jumping from a third-floor balcony, meaning from lower down than the roof, will likely just break your legs.
Weapons and Items
- Fixed an issue where laser sights could point in the wrong direction during extraction.
Interface
- The Missions Terminal now remembers the last selected raid type (Open or Isolated) and defaults to it the next time you launch the game.
- Harmonization rewards now have a hint indicating that they need to be opened in the Monolith.
- Changed the display of heavily damaged body parts in the raid results.
- Fixed an issue where items in the Shop display could appear small and too distant.
Graphics and Performance
- In Unstable Zone raids, visual noise on screen during zone shifts has been slightly reduced.
- In Unstable Zone raids, fixed a bug causing image colors to display incorrectly.
- In DirectX 11, fixed some crashes and graphical artifacts.
- In DirectX 12, fixed a bug where some textures might not update after loading.
- In DirectX 12, fixed a memory leak that could occur when resizing the game window.
- In Vulkan: fixed several graphics display errors.
Sound
- In squad voice chat settings, the "Always Active" activation mode no longer erroneously turns itself off after a microphone test.
Controls
- Added a tab to allow players to edit mouse and keyboard control settings on XBOX.
- Fixed a bug where the controller could stop working after changing the "Bigger small fonts" setting until the player switched to mouse and keyboard input and back again.
- Fixed a rare bug where controller inputs could become completely blocked if the player caught fire while searching a crate.
