Claiming Your Steam Edition of Active Matter

Operatives! Ahead of Active Matter’s release on Steam, owners of the Early Version have the opportunity to transfer their edition from the Gaijin Store to Steam for free. 

• You can transfer your edition in the next 90 days from the publication of this announcement, until November 23, 2026.
• The edition you receive will match the one you purchased from the Gaijin Store. Elite Squad Edition owners will receive the Steam version, with the same bonuses but without additional keys, while friends who redeemed their bonus keys will receive the Standard Edition. You will be able to play the Steam version starting September 15, the day the game launches.
• When you link your accounts, your progress from the launcher version will be transferred to Steam. If you have already played the Active Matter demo on Steam, your demo progress will be replaced by your progress from the launcher version.
• You will retain access to the game through the launcher.
• After linking your accounts, you will only be able to upgrade your edition through the Steam Store.
• To transfer your edition, go to the dedicated page and sign in with the Gaijin account you used to purchase Active Matter.

Please note: if the Gaijin account you used to play the launcher version is already linked to a Steam account through one of our other games, you must use that same Steam account. If you use a different Steam account, your progress will not be transferred.
