Update 0.2.1.118

This update makes Seeds easier to destroy and less persistent in chasing the player, tunes Invisible behavior so they pressure idle players more and active players less, improves UI sorting and readability, and fixes numerous issues, including several melee-related bugs.

Gameplay:

  • Changed Seed behavior to now be destroyed with one rifle shot or two pistol shots, and reduced their maximum chase distance.
  • Updated Invisible behavior to appear faster near stationary players and less often near players who are moving and shooting.
  • Prevented Invisibles teleporting across very long distances.
  • Increased the explosion resistance of respawn beacons.
  • Increased Ball Lightning spawn distance from 15 to 45 meters away from the player.

UI:

  • Added sorting to the Ammunition section: magazines first, then ammo, then grenades.
  • Fixed the sorting of available chronogenes in the chronogene list.
  • Updated the raid archive history map to now show where you encountered another player.
  • Increased font sizes on the map menu and for raid objectives.

Bug Fixes:

  • Prevented Ball Lightnings throwing players through walls.
  • Fixed the Invisible’s stealth visual effect: it is now consistent and accurately matches its silhouette.
  • Fixed incorrect backstab damage calculation for certain melee weapons.
  • Fixed an issue where armor plates and helmets sometimes did not reduce backstab melee damage.
  • Fixed incorrect displays of protection percentage statistics from certain chronogenes (for example, 100% fire protection).
  • Fixed an issue that caused increased damage to armor plates and helmets on Body Sleeves with innate defense bonuses.
  • Fixed an issue where defensive chronogenes did not mitigate damage to limbs when no armor was equipped.
  • Fixed other players’ reload animations sometimes not playing.
  • Fixed squad quick chat messages sometimes not appearing in the Shelter.
  • Fixed an error that occurred when extracting a round from the chamber in your inventory.
  • Fixed an error that occurred when dragging the default fixed melee weapon slot to the inventory.
  • Fixed an issue where monsters would sometimes fall through the ground after jumping.
  • Fixed the position of the pistol in the holster on Kwame Mensah Body Sleeves.
  • Fixed an issue in Nexus battles where sometimes the player got stuck in the animation of capturing the beacon despite retreating from it.
