"Power Plant": A Signal from Anguka Anga
Operatives! The Agency has cleared a route into a previously inaccessible sector of Anguka Anga. West of Headquarters, an unfinished power plant has been discovered — and it looks like it wasn’t built just to generate electricity. Agency intelligence suggests its power unit served as storage for Active Matter, or for high-risk experimentation. You'll get to put those theories to the test in a new raid coming in the next update.
The approach forces you through a densely built industrial zone. Hangars, freight container yards, and rusted, abandoned truck convoys offer vital cover should you cross paths with a rival squad. Towering over the rest of the zone stands the power unit itself: the dead heart of the facility. A black crystalline structure has ruptured through the housing, tearing local physics apart. Inside, gravity bends to its own erratic rules — keep your head on a swivel, because fire can come from any angle.
Below the plant and its surrounding area, maintenance corridors and narrow tunnels run hot with gravity anomalies and Active Matter deposits. Skirmishes in these tight quarters can turn fierce quickly. There’s no room to maneuver: push through, or fall back.
